Funeral costs
One of the first things you’ll probably want to know when arranging a funeral will be the cost.
All funeral directors are legally required to publish a price list for a standardised set of products and services. This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different funeral directors (because prices can vary).

DIRECT CREMATION
Waseley Hills
£1,650.00 Including Disbursements
Direct cremation at Waseley Hills where we choose the date and time.
Transferring your loved one into our care within a 25-mile radius of our Chapel of Rest.
DIRECT CREMATION includes:
- Our direct basic coffin
- One view during working hours (9am-4pm)
- Dressed in own clothes or leave as dressed
Our Direct Cremation package does not include any home visits to make arrangements and the family can only collect ashes during our working hours.
Additional items (if absolutely necessary):
Every additional chapel view –
£75 (9am to 4pm)
£100 (out of hours)
Collection of ashes outside of office hours – £75
BASIC FUNERAL
Waseley Hills or Redditch
£2,450.00 Excluding Disbursements
Early time at crematorium (Waseley Hills or Redditch).
Transferring your loved one into our care within a 25-mile radius of our Chapel of Rest.
BASIC FUNERAL includes:
- Simple preparation
- Clent coffin
- Dressed in gown or own clothes
- Hearse only direct to venue
- One view during working hours (9am-4pm)
- Date can be chose by family
Family must arrange flowers, newspaper and order of service.
Additional items (if absolutely necessary):
Every additional chapel view –
£75 (9am to 4pm)
£100 (out of hours)
Collection of ashes outside of office hours – £75
STANDARD FUNERAL
All
£3,260.00 Excluding Disbursements
STANDARD FUNERAL includes:
- In hours removal
- Preparation
- Clent coffin
- Hearse
- Professional Services
Additional items (if absolutely necessary):
Every additional chapel view –
£75 (9am to 4pm)
£100 (out of hours)
Collection of ashes outside of office hours – £75

* Chapel appointments – all out of hours chapel appointments will be charged at £75.00 per half hour and would need to be booked within office hours.
Home visits to make arrangements – we will make a charge of £100 to visit a family home to make funeral arrangements.
