A Guide to making funeral arrangements
Service arrangements with the Minister, Church, Celebrant, Cemetery or Crematorium are made through us. We can approach your local parish minister to conduct the service, or if you wish to have a Minister or Celebrant of your choice, or have any other special requirements, please inform us at your earliest convenience. It is also possible for a friend or member of the family to take the service. Jewellery Please note that no items of jewellery will be removed until we have received specific instructions from our client. We cannot be held responsible for jewellery that is buried or cremated with the person that has passed away if no instructions to remove it were given. Donations to Charity Donations are accepted via Memory Giving, direct to the chosen charity, or a box can be provided at the funeral service. The conductor returns this box to the family at the end of the funeral service for the family to organise. We do not personally accept or collate donations. Departure Point If it is not convenient for relatives and friends to assemble at a private address, they may assemble at our premises prior to proceeding to the Church or Crematorium. Car parking is available. PrePaid Funeral Plans are available from Golden Charter. Please ask for more information. The Funeral 9
